Giants of the Pacific Northwest: The Hunt Family Totem Poles

This is a historical account of a unique family of four totem poles, carved by, or under the direction of, the talented carvers of the Kwagiulth Hunt Family during the 103 years between 1870s and 1973.  The story of how the poles came to be and the eventual fate of these four poles is based on oral history and referenced written words, and is illustrated with old and new photographs previously unseen by the public.
